The Book's Audience

Since the ebook demonstrates human behaviours via puppets, I best recommend my book for children whose age is 3 years to 7 years old, yet I do think people of the older ages (and sometimes like very very old ages) will find their own kind of value inside the book.

The Story

The story is about a teddy bear whose name is Yeffet. Yeffet's mood looks odd to his owner & she starts to question him about it. None of her questions hits exactly to the strange feeling Yeffet carries with him, but in the end Yeffet tells her about what he feels & what he needs in order to make it better. Along the development of the story the reader is acquainted to Yeffet's friends which are other puppets of his owner: Benny the bunny, Elinora the cat & Manny the dog.

The Educational & Therapeutic Advantages of The Book

The book is basically a kind of a therapy ebook. It teaches children as well as parents how to notice feelings while they are expressed. In particular the book deals with noticing a sense of sadness that cannot be defined within a single word. Moreover the puppets in the book assist readers with the understanding of situations that can cause us human beings to feel disappoinment & failure as well as achievement, friendship & partnership. Furthermore, this therapy ebook demonstrates to a child how to ask questions & make him or her understand that there are several posibilities to interpret a single situation. And last but not least - the importance of caring about each other and encouraging people's to help their loved ones are also virtues that are dealt within the flow of the events.

Why Should You Buy an E-Book?

I know it sounds peculiar that a child will read an e-book rather than a regular book. Even though the buying experience is not the same as buying a new book (you lack the smell & feel of a book) there are many benefits to buying an e-book. Here are some of them:

• The price of e-books is less than the price of regular books.
• You can read the e-book on a computer screen as well as on hard copy (via printing it on a printer at your own time).
• If you decide to print the e-book you can do it on both black & white as well as colour printer. Yet, for best results & for best reading experience for your child & for yourself I recommend that you print it via a colour printer.
• When you buy a regular book you own only as many copies as you paid for. By owning an e-book you still purchase a single copy, but you can print as many copies of it as you would like.
• In case that a book is damaged there is nothing you can do about it (unless you order another copy of it...not the very best idea). E-books on the other hand can be printed over and over again anytime anywhere.
• Illustrated children ebook doesn't take storage space (well, apart of computer storage space :-)). Thus, you can own an immense amount of ebooks without having to expand your storage space.
• In the classroom (or in your home) you can print several copies for all of your children (they don't have to fight over a book ;-)) and you can even split the printed ebook into several parts so that each child will read a section of it.

What I Think About Children's Literature

I believe that children's literature has significance to their emotional growth. I think it's best to tell them stories they can identify with emotionally and through which they deal with various situations in their lives. That is why I prefer that parents will treat my illustrated children ebook as a "therapy ebook".
